Next All-New Episode Airs Monday, May 15

FOX has renewed GOTHAM for a fourth season, it was announced today by David Madden, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

“GOTHAM and these origin stories take place within a universe that is truly cherished, and we couldn’t be happier to have entrusted Bruno Heller, Danny Cannon and John Stephens with telling them,” said Madden. “The episodes are engrossing, the production values are amazing and the incredible actors, led by Ben McKenzie, who bring this world to life each week are astounding. Our thanks also go out to Warner Bros. Television. We know there are many more stories to be told and we are thrilled to return to Gotham City for a fourth season.”

In the next all-new episode, “Heroes Rise: Light The Wick,” airing Monday, May 15 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), Gordon (Ben McKenzie) discovers the weapon that the Court of Owls will use to destroy Gotham, which leads him to a vengeful Barnes (Michael Chiklis), aka The Executioner, as he tracks it down. Meanwhile, Temple Shaman (guest star Raymond J. Barry) reveals his next move to Bruce (David Mazouz), and Ivy (Maggie Geha) comes to Selina’s (Camren Bicondova) aid.

GOTHAM is averaging seven million Total Viewers across multiple platforms. The series ranks among this season’s Top 10 dramas among Men 18-49 and Men 18-34, and places among the season’s Top 20 broadcast dramas with Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

GOTHAM is based upon the characters from DC Comics and is produced by Warner Bros. Television. Executive producer Bruno Heller wrote the pilot, which was directed and executive-produced by Emmy Award nominee Danny Cannon.
