Alexis Martin Woodall started out as a post-production assistant on Ryan Murphy’s “Nip/Tuck” and has since risen through the ranks to become president of Ryan Murphy Productions and an executive producer on some of the most inspiring and creative shows in television history. She has garnered two Golden Globes and 12 Emmy Award nominations for her work on “Pose,” “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story,” “FEUD: Bette and Joan,” “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story,” “American Horror Story” and “Glee.” In 2014, she won her first Emmy as a member of the producing team on Murphy’s widely acclaimed cable adaptation of Larry Kramer’s “The Normal Heart.” She repeated that honor in 2016, winning her second Emmy for “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story,” and most recently in 2018, she won her third for “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.” Woodall executive-produces across all Ryan Murphy Television projects, including “The Politician,” “Hollywood,” “The Prom” and “The Boys in the Band.”

Woodall also owns restaurant Red Herring with her husband, Dave.
