Brandon Margolis was born in New York, NY and graduated from Brooklyn College with a B.A. in Film Production with a concentration in screenwriting. In 2010, Margolis teamed up with Brandon Sonnier and together they got their start writing broadcast television with 5 seasons on the hit drama series “The Blacklist,” as well as selling several original pilots.  Together, "the Brandons" created and were showrunners of Jerry Bruckheimer Television’s Bad Boys spinoff “L.A. 's Finest” starring Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union. Margolis recently served as a co-executive producer on “SWAT.”
