Bernie Schaeffer is Vice President of current programming for ITV America, overseeing creative and production on key series from the company’s six vertical production labels – ITV Entertainment, Leftfield Pictures, Sirens Media, Thinkfactory Media, High Noon Entertainment and Good Caper Content.

Schaeffer spearheads and executive-produces a range of ITV America series and specials, with current credits including FOX’s HELL’S KITCHEN, “The Chase,” “Love & Marriage: Huntsville,” “Cannonball” and “The Wedding Coach,” among many others.

With more than 20 years of television experience, Schaeffer oversees and executive-produces projects for a wide variety of broadcast and cable networks, both in the U.S. and the U.K. Prior to joining ITV America, he was Senior Vice President of Current Programming and Development for Twofour.

He began his entertainment career in the U.K., working with all major broadcasters, including BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5, as well as cable networks such as Sky, Discovery Networks and E4. He has executive-produced series that include “This Time Next Year,” “Edge of Alaska” and “Rocky Mountain Law.” He also helped establish one of the U.K.’s most successful TV formats, “The Hotel Inspector,” along with its multiple spinoffs.
