Having co-founded Merman in 2014 with co-founder Sharon Horgan (“Catastrophe”), Clelia Mountford develops and produces a multitude of projects with a host of international talent.

Mountford most recently executive-produced brand-new comedy “Frank Of Ireland,” created by Brian and Domhnall Gleeson and Michael Moloney; two series of “Frayed,” written by and starring Sarah Kendall; both series of “This Way Up,” written by Aisling Bea and starring Bea and Horgan; three series of “Motherland”; two series of the award-winning “There She Goes,” written by Shaun Pye and starring David Tennant and Jessica Hynes; and “Women On The Verge,” created by Lorna Martin and Sharon Horgan.

As producer, Mountford has many high-profile projects to her name, including David Cross’s “Bliss,” “The Circuit,” the third series of “Todd Margaret,” “Cockroaches” and “Mr. Sloane.”

Prior to founding Merman, Mountford devised and produced two series of the comedy-drama adaptation of Mikhail Bulgakov’s “A Young Doctor’s Notebook,” starring Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe. She also held roles as Head of Comedy at RDF and Head of Radio and TV Script Associate at Talkback Thames. Mountford began her career in theatre and radio, producing more than 50 radio comedies and dramas for BBC Radio 4, 3 and 2, and assistant-produced numerous No. 1 theatre tours and West End shows.
