Patricia Llewellyn was a pioneering television producer born February 7, 1962, who passed away in October 2017.

Llewellyn served as CEO of the Optomen Group, which encompasses Optomen Television in London, Optomen Productions in New York and Los Angeles and One Potato Two Potato in London and Los Angeles. She joined Optomen in 1994, became managing director in 2005 and was one of the founders of One Potato Two Potato in 2008.

She produced the first season of the U.K. reality series “Police, Camera, Action!,” with audiences of more than 15 million viewers. She also created, directed and produced the award-winning “Two Fat Ladies,” which became a worldwide hit. She developed and produced the BAFTA- and Royal Television Society Award-winning series “The Naked Chef,” launching the TV career of Jamie Oliver. She went on to executive-produce a wide range of shows, including BAFTA- and International Emmy Award-winning “Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares,” “French Leave,” “The F***ing Fulfords,” “Two Men In A Trench,” “The F Word,” “Heston’s Feast,” “Mary, Queen of Shops” and “What To Eat Now.” In the U.S., Llewellyn executive-produced “Kitchen Nightmares,” “Hotel Hell,” MASTERCHEF and MASTERCHEF JUNIOR, as well as cable’s “Role Reversal” and “Tyler’s Ultimate.”

In 2008, Llewellyn co-founded One Potato Two Potato. She headed up OPTP’s Los Angeles office (opened in 2010) with Ben Adler, and served as executive producer on all of OPTP’s unscripted U.S. shows.

Llewellyn is survived by her husband, Ben Adler, whom she married in 2002. She is missed by her MASTERCHEF family around the world.
