Aparna Nancherla started out doing comedy in her hometown of Washington, D.C., and now resides in New York City. In 2021, Vulture named her one of the Greatest Character Actors Working Today, and in the 2016 Elle Women in Comedy Issue, she was featured as one of the most exciting new voices to hit the comedy scene. She was a series regular for three seasons of “Corporate.” Other TV credits include “Modern Love,” “Space Force,” “Crashing,” “Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet,” “Master of None,” “Love,” “High Maintenance” and “Inside Amy Schumer,” as well as “I Love You, America with Sarah Silverman” and “Unspun with Matt Forde,” on which she appeared as a U.S. correspondent. In 2018, Nancherla made her feature film debut in director Paul Feig’s “A Simple Favor.” She’s also one of the most prolific voices in animation, having recurred as BoJack’s daughter on “BoJack Horseman,” “Mira,” “Royal Detective,” “The Boss Baby,” BOB’S BURGERS, “Helpsters,” “Steven Universe” and “Animals,” to name a few.

Nancherla’s TV stand-up appearances include specials for “The Standups” and “The Half Hour,” as well as sets on “2 Dope Queens,” stand-up series “Night Train with Wyatt Cenac,” “Meltdown” and “Adam Devine’s House Party.” In 2013, she made her late-night stand-up debut on “Conan,” and was one of the breakout New Faces at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal.

Nancherla’s TV writing credits include “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and “Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell,” on which she was a regular correspondent/writer. She also is an alumna of the NBC Stand Up for Diversity program, and currently headlines throughout the world. Nancherla has been seen at a number of festivals, including Clusterfest, Portland’s Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Moontower, SF Sketchfest, DC’s Bentzen Ball, Outside Lands, Bonnaroo and Dublin’s Vodaphone Comedy Festival. She has been featured on NPR, XM Radio and Slate V, as well as in Reader’s Digest, The Huffington Post and The Washington Post Magazine.
