Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Miranda Kwok is an award-winning writer, creator, producer and actor. With her first screenplay, Kwok won the Grand Prize in the Slamdance Screenplay Competition. With her first spec script, Kwok landed a staff writer position on the highly acclaimed television series “Spartacus: Blood & Sand.” She also has worked as a writer and story consultant on theme park attractions and immersive experiences. Kwok has developed television series for the American, Italian and Chinese markets, and spent four years as a writer/producer on “The 100,” ultimately serving as supervising producer.

In addition to being executive producer and showrunner, she penned the pilot script for THE CLEANING LADY, based on the Argentine format “La Chica Que Limpia.” Kwok is a member of the Television Academy, and a 76th-generation descendant of the Chinese philosopher Confucius.
